The Vijay Kumar Shah family has pledged NPR 40 million to support the construction of the Pediatric Surgery Intensive Care Unit (PSICU) & Day Care Surgery Floor at the KIOCH-Kathmandu Children’ Hospital. On 29th September 2024, the family made an initial donation of NPR 10 million, with the remaining NPR 30 million to follow as the project progresses. This contribution is entirely from Mr. Shah’s family members’ personal funds and was facilitated through their non-profit organization, JGI Nepal Foundation. The KIOCH family expresses sincere gratitude for this generous support.
