Prof. Dr. Bhagawan Koirala, the Chairman of Kathmandu Institute of Child Health, recently completed a highly impactful visit to the USA. The 4th Annual Meeting & Networking Event of KIOCH’s partner organization, K-pals, held on 7th June at Dallas, and attended by more than 250 supporters was a grand success. During the trip, the event organized by ANMF (America Nepal Medical Association) in Washington, DC, brought significant support towards establishing a Neonatal ICU at KIOCH. The event culminated in a successful fundraising gala dinner, securing a commitment of $97,000 for KIOCH. Promising collaboration plans were also initiated with UT Southwestern and the University of Michigan. Dr. Koirala would like to congratulate and thank the leadership of K-pals and ANMF for their continued support.
