Dr. Shashi Bhushan Upadhyay pledged to donate Ninety- million Nepali Rupees for the construction of North Block of KIOCH-Kathmandu Children’s Hospital in Kathmandu. On the formal program held on 23rd September 2024 at KIOCH office, agreement was signed between Dr. Upadhyay and KIOCH. Dr. Upadhyay handed over the check of Twenty-seven million Nepali rupees, the 1st installment of the pledged amount to the Chairman of KIOCH, Prof. Dr. Bhagawan Koirala. The donation was made by the donor in memory of his late parents Mr. Lalit Keshari Upadhya and Mrs. Thaan Kumari Upadhyay. Dr. Upadhyay expressed happiness for being able to contribute to the healthcare for the children of Nepal.
