The past few days have been full of heartwarming contributions and community-driven events. We are incredibly grateful for the support and commitment shown by everyone involved in making KIOCH a better place for our young patients. Here’s a look at what’s been happening:
Thank you, Dr. Arvid and team! We appreciate your generous donation of a cautery machine, which will be a valuable addition to our surgical services.
School Hearing Screen Program – A meaningful beginning! We successfully conducted our first school hearing screening, with more to come. Early detection matters, and we’re excited to serve the community’s children.
Art & Play for All – Thank you to the Lions Club of Damak United for the beautiful wall art and the handover of tricycles. These will bring smiles and fun to our young visitors, brightening up our hospital spaces.
Solar Power for a Sustainable Future – A huge thanks to GRID and RES for providing KIOCH with a 31.68kW grid-tied solar electric system, complete with a lithium-ion battery backup for emergency loads. This is a significant step towards sustainable energy for our hospital!
