Donation from Dr. Ramesh Kant Adhikari and Family
Prof. Dr. Ramesh Kant Adhikari (Board Member of KIOCH, pioneer in public health and ethical issues, former Dean of Institute of Medicine, Tribhuvan University) and his family, in memory of their beloved Dr. Neelam Adhikari, donated a sum of Nepali Rupees one crore and ten lakhs to KIOCH towards construction of Children's Hospital amid a small function at KIOCH office on October 29, 2023. Big Individual Donation to KIOCH
KIOCH family express their heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Ramakanta Adhikary and Mrs. Rita Adhikary for their generous donation of twenty five million rupees (NRS 25,000,000), in memory of their beloved daughter Dr. Aparajita Adhikary, towards construction of a children's hospital building at Kathmandu. This is the biggest individual donation to KIOCH so far.

Dabur Nepal Limited Donated to KIOCH
Dabur Nepal Limited handed over the donation of NRS thirty lakhs to KIOCH. An MOU was signed between KIOCH and Dabur Nepal Limited on 24th of February 2023. Chairperson & MD-Dabur Nepal, Ishori Rana handed over the check to the Chairperson of KIOCH Prof. Dr. Bhagawan Koirala amid a function organized at Dabur Nepal's Office at Tinkune, Kathmandu.
Life Insurers' Association Nepal Donates towards Construction of Children's Hospital
Life Insurers’ Association Nepal provided KIOCH with a sizable contribution of NPR 4,000,000 (four million) towards construction of Children’s Hospital. This contribution will make us move one step ahead. We express our sincere thanks to the Chairperson of National Insurance Board Mr. Surya Silwal for facilitating this process. Design and Drawing of KIOCH-Kathmandu Children's Hospital is approved by the Executive Committee of Budhanilkantha Municipality. A great milestone towards the construction of Hospital Building in Kathmandu. We are grateful to the Mayor Uddav Prasad Kharel, Engineering Team and the Executive Committee of Budhanilkantha Municipality for waiving the approval fee which is above 5 million Nepali rupees.

Having been able to serve hundreds of thousands of people and operate on more than 14,000 hearts over the years, I still feel that there is a lot to do in our health care service, especially in the field of child health in Nepal.
Paediatric care is one of my keen interests and the absence of a comprehensive care centre for children in Nepal deeply concerns me. I believe that all children in Nepal deserve the best health-care, no matter where they live or whether they are rich or poor.
Our goal is to build a multi-specialty children’s hospital in Kathmandu that provides high quality healthcare in the areas of clinical paediatrics: oncology, cardiology and mental health.
With KIOCH, we are able to make a significant contribution to child health care in Nepal.
Together we can achieve this.
