Mr. Ram Prasad Koirala and Mrs. Biraja Koirala donated NPR 15 million to Support the ENT and allied sciences at KIOCH-Kathmandu Children’s Hospital.
Kathmandu Institute of Child Health (KIOCH) is deeply grateful to Mr. Ram Prasad Koirala and Mrs. Biraja Koirala for their generous contribution of NPR 15,000,000 (Fifteen Million Nepali Rupees) in support of the ENT Project at KIOCH-Kathmandu Children’s Hospital.
The cheque was handed over to KIOCH during the launch ceremony of the second edition of Mr. Ram Prasad Koirala’s book, Meri Uni Ra Maa, held on 26 June 2026. The occasion not only celebrated the release of an inspiring literary work but also reflected the couple’s remarkable commitment to improving healthcare services for children in Nepal.
This generous donation will significantly strengthen the development of specialized Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) and allied services at KIOCH, helping the hospital provide advanced, accessible, and affordable care to children from across the country.
