Announcement for Call for Fellowship Application

The Kathmandu Institute of Child Health (KIOCH) is a registered not-for-profit organization working towards building a comprehensive paediatric care facility within Nepal. Using a hub-and-spoke model, KIOCH aims to make paediatric specialty care available, accessible, and affordable. In its initial phase, KIOCH will develop its headquarters and main facility in Budhanilkantha Municipality, Kathmandu. In subsequent phases, KIOCH will expand its service capacity and then establish six satellite centres in each of the surrounding Provinces of Nepal.
The institute has secured some fellowship offers from internationally recognized institutions to which KIOCH can nominate Nepalese doctors for paediatric sub-specialty training. KIOCH therefore invites applications from all Nepalese medical graduates meeting the following criteria and who are interested in developing their career in paediatric cardiology.
Minimum Requirements:
- Nepal Medical Council (NMC) registered physician with MD-Paediatrics or equivalent degree;
- Age not exceeding 45 years at the time of application; and
- Be available to start fellowship in Israel during 2020.
