ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

KIOCH is a not for profit organization in terms of the Nepal Companies Act and our is based on business principles to be able to be self supporting in the first years.

Furthermore share holders are not entitled to profit sharing and cannot make a profit on the sale of their shares. Any profit will flow back directly into the hospital.

The KIOCH board consists of:

Mr. Prof. Dr. Ramesh Kanta Adhikari
Mr. Govinda Prasad Adhikary
Mr. Dr. Jyotindra Sharma
Mr. Bhuwan Dahal: Banker
Mr. Satish Kumar More
Ms. Barsha Shrestha

They will fulfil their duty on a part time basis and will not receive payment for their services. The key responsibilities of the board are:

Strategic direction;
– Policy and regulation;
– Fundraising;
– Statutory duties; and
– Stakeholder management.

The Management committee operates on the tactical level and consists of three individuals: a Chief Executive Officer (CEO)on a full time basis and a  Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Operating Officer (COO) on .part-time positions

The management committee is responsible for the day to day operation of the hospital and the execution of the strategy as defined by the board of KIOCH.

 

The Advisory committee Nepal will consist of experienced medical staff, KIOCH employees, government, official and patients and representatives of local universities.

Advisory committee Nepal membership is a part time responsibility without compensation.
