A profound belief in giving back and a burning passion for healthcare equity and improving quality of life got me involved in K-PALS. I am honored and grateful to be a part of this amazing team which strives for a healthier , equitable, and empowered world together by improving children healthcare in Nepal.

Growing up, we did not have the option of having affordable and accessible healthcare especially for children in Nepal, which makes K-PALs and its mission that much important. My beliefs and values truly align with the objectives of K-PALs and it’s truly an honor to serve this organization as a board member. I strongly believe that we should work collectively towards establishing access to quality healthcare among children as a ‘right’ rather than a ‘privilege’.

Rheumatologist by profession, Dr. Poudel serves as the secretary of K-Pals. His primary interests are in clinical practice, research and philanthropy.
