Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has agreed to contribute NRS 40 million (4 crore) to Kathmandu Institute of Child Health (KIOCH) for the construction of Hospital Building of Kathmandu Children's Hospital. Agreement is signed between Kathmandu Metropolitan City and Kathmandu Institute of Child Health by Prof. Dr. Bhagawan Koirala, Chairman of KIOCH and Mr. Rajeshwor Gyawali, CEO of KMC in presence of Mayor Mr. Bidhya Sundara Shakya and Dy Mayor Ms. Hari Priya Khadgi amid a function on 27th October 2021 at Kathmandu Metropolitan City Office at City Hall (Rastriya Sabha Griha).

A number of sporty employees of InsingerGilissen have raised no less than € 3700 during  the ‘London to Amsterdam Charity Bike Ride’. The 560-kilometer-long bike ride was held from August 29th until September 1st.  KIOCH would like to thank everyone who has used his or her physical and mental strength and network to contribute to the construction of KIOCH.

On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of notary office Doude van Troostwijk, a charity market will be organized near the office on September 21st . KIOCH as well as other non-profit organizations will participate at this market to engage and inform people about their work. Liesbeth Nagelkerke and Kaat Burbidge-van Velde will be present to share their passion for Nepal, but above all to tell you more about KIOCH.

Meet KIOCH on the Gooise Charity Market in Bussum at the 10th anniversary of notary office Doude van Troostwijk on September 21st.

The KPMG team met KIOCH’s visionaries , Prof. Dr. Bhagawan Koirala and Deepak Raj Sapkota, as well as with the KIOCH board in Kathmandu. During an extensive introduction program the team immersed itself in Nepali health care to get more insights in the necessity and possibilities of a future specialized children’s hospital. Photographer Daniel Maissan produced an impressive slideshow with sounds to show that KIOCH is proud to be a true gamechanger.

The Kioch project team in the Netherlands met the KPMG team for the first time during a fruitful kick-off meeting at KPMG Headquarters.
Everyone’s expertise was valued and tasks and responsibilities appointed in the business case process during the coming months.
A highly motivated crew is almost on their way to meet our colleagues of KIOCH in Nepal. It’s time for research in Kathmandu!
